Abstract
The present case study includes three buffaloes and one cattle presented with long-standing soft, non-painful swelling at the brisket region. No systemic abnormality was observed and all the vital parameters were normal. Surgical resection was done under sedation and local infiltration anaesthesia. Satisfactory post-operative recovery was observed. Postoperative medication included broad-spectrum antibiotics, analgesics and local dressing. Growths were histopathological examination confirmed myxosarcoma in three animals and squamous cell carcinoma in one animal.
