Abstract
The present study was carried out on 288 ejaculates collected from selected 12 adult Sirohi bucks. These were examined immediately after collection to correlate with environmental variables. Correlation shows temperature had a significant positive correlation with ejaculate volume whereas, sunshine hours were negatively correlated with volume and sperm viability. Temperature Humidity Index (THI) was negatively correlated with pH, sperm viability and abnormality. Data showed variation in breeding pattern i.e., the highest breeding was observed in winter (9.98%) followed by summer (7.83%) and monsoon (7.64%). These variables should be addressed while evaluating breeding performance.
