Abstract
The present investigation was carried out on 390 samples of female genital tract of cattle of different age and breeds. Out of these, 64 samples showing gross lesions were collected and tissue sections from these were subjected to histopathological examination. In the present study, the overall occurrence of mummified foetus in genital tract of cattle was found to be 0.64% (1 case).
